Crynodeb
Pembrokeshire County Council wish to appoint an events co-ordinator to work with the community of St Davids, North Pembrokeshire to create a new annual, not-for-profit, family-friendly Celtic music festival. This forms part of Ancient Connections; a cross-border arts, heritage and tourism programme linking North Pembrokeshire to North Wexford in Ireland.
The appointed contractor will work with the local community, in particular grass-roots musicians and new and emerging talent, to produce two weekend-long events in the city, in Spring 2022 and 2023, taking care to avoid competing with other festivals in North Pembrokeshire.

Relates to the following project/programme financed by EU Community Funds: The project is funded by ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) led by Pembrokeshire County Council, with joint beneficiaries Wexford County Council, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority and Visit Wexford. The project runs from April 2019 – March 2022 but is likely to be extended to July 2023 due to COVID 19.
The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
