Lot 1 of the Women’s integrated sexual health (WISH) programme will deliver services in up to 11 countries, as follows:
— Burkina Faso,

— Nigeria,
— Senegal,
— Sierra Leone.
The service provider will deliver services under 4 components:
Targeted service delivery in sexual and reproductive health services including procurement of commodities. Supportive legal, financial and regulatory reform, demand creation and stigma reduction to improve the supply of and demand for SRHR services. Increasing national commitments to SRHR.
Leverage domestic financing and commitments for family planning and sexual and reproductive health services. Changing social norms, education and influencing behaviour change, prevention of unsafe abortion, and increasing demand for other integrated Sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services

VII.2.1) Disgrifiad o’r addasiadau
The addition of Ghana into the WISH scope of services is in line with DFID’s objectives to support Ghana to self-finance its own health services (which include sustainable family planning services, as per the requirements of WISH) and the WISH contract's identification of the importance of learning lessons from Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. Ghana will therefore be included in the WISH core contract overall scope and services will be delivered by the WISH Lot 1 incumbent supplier, MSI, for the duration of the contract.

The services required for Ghana exactly match the services already being delivered under WISH Lot 1. DFID have established that this cannot be procured independently from the WISH programme as, due to the opportune placement of the incumbent supplier delivering the same services under WISH Lot 1, and due to the limited size of the international family planning market, this could not represent good value for money and would risk duplication of cost and resource. This increase in scope is allowable under the original OJEU advert value increase options which are up to an additional 38 000 000 GBP above the contract award value of 77 000 000 GBP for Lot 1.
