Cardiff Council Harbour Authority is looking to sell a passenger-carrying vessel, known as the ‘Lewis Alexander, which was used for regular trips from Cardiff Bay to Flat Holm Island taking visitors, staff, equipment, stores, etc.
The Vessel is to be 'sold as seen' to the highest bidder. The removal of all equipment from site will be the responsibility of the winning bidder.
The winning bidder must meet the required Health and Safety Standards of Cardiff Council and provide evidence of having suitable Public and Employers Liability Insurance to carry out the removal of the Vessel.
The specification and photographs of the vessel will be included in the tender pack on the Council’s Procurement portal, Proactis. All queries regarding this process must be submitted via Proactis.
There will be an opportunity for potential Bidders to view the Vessel on site. Details on how to arrange viewings are included within the tender pack.
