Crynodeb

Supporting businesses to ‘start, grow and succeed’ in which people have decent, sustainable employment closer to home, is a priority theme in Prosperity for All: economic action plan. Executive-level peer to peer support, whereby business founder/leaders connect with like-minded peers to support, encourage and challenge one another to overcome their respective obstacles, identify opportunities and achieve key milestones, is widely understood to promote smarter leadership, innovative thinking and accelerated growth. The Welsh Government is looking to identify a provider to deliver a 12 month pilot of executive coaching and mentoring via a peer to peer network for 5 CEO business leaders from Valleys based growth businesses. The pilot is intended to support a key commitment to promote growth and jobs in high growth businesses based in the South Wales Valleys and to understand the benefits of executive level peer to peer support to inform future policy development.
