Crynodeb

HCC requires a supplier to maintain and support it’s IT infrastructure. The service to commence on 1st April 2017. Specific Requirements Specifically HCC require a supplier that can • Maintain the hardware infrastructure • Support the software within the infrastructure and keep up to date • Respond to any problems within a short time scale • Monitor the system for any unusual behaviour/threats • Keep the system under review and suggest amendments where appropriate • Attend at quarterly IT meetings with HCC staff

HCC requires a supplier to maintain and support it’s IT infrastructure. The service to commence on 1st April 2017.

Specific Requirements

Specifically HCC require a supplier that can

• Maintain the hardware infrastructure

20/02/2017 13:42	EIDCYMRU review When drafting the invitation to tender it was planned that the new IT supplier would undertake a review of the EIDCYMRU infrastructure. This was to ensure that the system was fit for purpose prior to the Welsh Government undertaking a health check. Since drafting the ITT HCC have progressed further with their application for accreditation under Cyber Essentials Plus. As part of that assessment a check on the infrastructure will be carried out. It would seem likely therefore that the review of the infrastructure will be undertaken as part of the assessment and so we will not require the new IT supplier to carry out this work. The evaluation criteria of the tender responses did not include this element and so tender responses will continue to be evaluated as set out in the invitation to tender document. The new IT supplier will therefore be appointed to maintain the infrastructure from 1 April.

EIDCYMRU review

When drafting the invitation to tender it was planned that the new IT supplier would undertake a review of the EIDCYMRU infrastructure. This was to ensure that the system was fit for purpose prior to the Welsh Government undertaking a health check.

Since drafting the ITT HCC have progressed further with their application for accreditation under Cyber Essentials Plus. As part of that assessment a check on the infrastructure will be carried out. It would seem likely therefore that the review of the infrastructure will be undertaken as part of the assessment and so we will not require the new IT supplier to carry out this work.

The evaluation criteria of the tender responses did not include this element and so tender responses will continue to be evaluated as set out in the invitation to tender document.
