NHS Waltham Forest CCG is seeking offers for the provision of Community direct GP Access ambulatory ECG, BP and Plain ECG services under the any qualified provider (AQP) process (Lot 1). The anticipated period of contract is 15.8.2018 to 14.8.2021, with a potential option to extend for 2 years.
In addition, NHS Waltham Forest clinical commissioning group we be opening the opportunity for new qualified entrants for the provision of:
Community direct GP Access non-obstetric ultrasound (NOUS) Services (Lot 2); and.
Community direct GP Access Echocardiogram services (Lot 3).
Under the any qualified provider (AQP) process. The anticipated period of contract is 15.8.2018 to 14.8.2021, with a potential option to extend for 2 years.

— to enable Patients and referring clinicians to access a choice of provision according to patient choice, clinical need and relevant care pathway; and
— to ensure diagnostic tests are appropriate, necessary, clinically correct, of high quality, with timely access and reporting
— to develop local service provision as part of a diagnostic commissioning plan which aims to improve access and choice for patients.

This procurement is for clinical services which are part of the ‘Light Touch Regime’ for the purpose of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Accordingly, the Authority is only bound by those parts of the Regulations detailed in Regulation 75 and 76. The procedure that the Authority is following is as set out in this ITT. As the Authority is a relevant body for the purposes of the National Health Service (Procurement Patient Choice and Competition) (Nº 2) Regulations 2013 these regulations also apply to this procurement.

The deadline for submission of AQP response documents for all Lots is 12:00 pm on 16.3.2018. Bidders can submit bids for 1, 2 or all 3 of the service lots.
The relevant policies and contractual documents will be available on pro-contract (www.supplying2nhs.com) along with the AQP documents. There is a messaging facility available on the pro-contract portal to send any clarification questions in respect of the offer. Bidders must use pro-contract messaging to submit clarification questions. Clarification questions received by other means will not receive any response.
