NI Child Health System (NICHS) uses a technology, Cache, for both the application software and for its database. Without Cache, the system would not exist. The version of Cache used must be compatible with the hardware on which it runs. Changes in the hardware now require that Cache licencing and associated services are upgraded from 32 bit to 64 bit.
