Babcock DSG Ltd, which is acting as the agent for the for the UK Ministry of Defence known as the authority, is considering 2-year with 3 x 1 year options a single operator framework agreement to supply spares and associated items for the C2A2 Sight Unit. All items within scope are codified to NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs). The compliant Manufacturer Part Numbers (MPNs) are detailed on the Codification Support Information System (CSIS) maintained by the United Kingdom National Codification Bureau, further details can be found on the CSIS/UKNCB website.
The authority reserves the right to amend the framework agreement to include further in scope items, which are not materially different in character and so not substantially change the terms of the framework agreement, post contract award.
Any resulting contract shall contain a set of key performance indicators to measure performance in areas such as transparency, delivery and quality, and shall include remedies for poor performance.

Esboniad:
Babcock DSG Ltd, acting as agent for the UK Ministry of Defence, intends to negotiate a Contract with Hall and Watts Defence Optics Ltd for the supply of C2A2 Sight Spares.
It is considered that this contract can be awarded using the negotiated procedure without prior publication pursuant to Regulation 16(1)(a)(i) of the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 (the ‘Regulations’) (Article 28(1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC) due to the absence of suitable tenders received in response to a call for competition (reference 2019/S 146-360833) under the ‘restricted’ procedure set out in Regulation 17 of the Regulations.
