Esboniad:
A one year contract award is proposed on the basis that advertising the requirement for the separate competitive tendering of a housing related support service would result in the withdrawal of the accommodation currently provided ultimately leading to the withdrawal of linked accommodation currently provided and this would be detrimental to the service users. Service continuity is required to allow for service design and housing options to be explored which will align with national well-being and integrated joint board indicators and importantly allow for continuity of care for vulnerable service users whilst the informed development of more progressive provision and contracts for accommodation with support is undertaken.
