Invitation to Tender: A specification for the development of Wales-specific resources to encourage discussions about perinatal wellbeing in a home and clinical environment, taking into account both the physical and mental elements of perinatal health. Purpose and Summary of the Advert: To provide agencies with a brief on the requirements of the Women’s Health Implementation Programme and the Perinatal Mental Health Network in relation to the creation of resources, the aim of which is to encourage women and their supporters to feel comfortable talking about their physical and mental health and wellbeing during the perinatal period. To invite agencies to submit proposals against this brief and outline proposal specifications. We wish to invite creative agencies to tender for the creation of physical and mental perinatal health and wellbeing resources for clinical healthcare care practitioners (during consultations) and individuals (in their home setting). The appointee is required to effectively deliver these resources for both Welsh and English-speaking audiences, ensuring that content is equally accessible and comprehensible in both languages. 1. Give people/women in Wales the agency to monitor and safeguard their own health and wellbeing during the perinatal period. 2. Inform people/women of when to ask for clinical support in the perinatal period. 3. Acknowledge the integral role of supporting individuals and family members in the perinatal period and provide them with information to support women/people successfully.
