Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) is issuing a Contract Award Notice for the A48 Active Travel Route (ATR). See below for the description published on ETenderWales when tendering the contract. "This is a Further Competition of the County Council of the City and County of Cardiff, South East and Mid Wales Highways Framework Agreement Dated January 2023, Lot 6 refers. Tender Registration Number: SEWH-3146. Brief description of Works: The scheme comprises the construction of a shared use active travel route, approximately 235m in length, including path construction, earthworks, and installation of new kerbing, signs, and street lighting. The works are described in detail in The Scope (Appendix 2 to the Agreement). Contract Terms and Conditions: NEC Engineering and Construction Contract (June 2017 incorporating October 2020 amendments), Options A (Priced Contract with Activity Schedule)."
