Direct Award under WPA framework RS5 to Alpha Building Group as the appointed contractor, utilising an Alumasc Roofing Systems specification as the basis of the roofing solution, The works comprise the replacement of the existing flat roof coverings to the John Percival Building with a new Alumasc Derbigum warm roof system, including associated gutter and parapet waterproofing works. The works also include temporary relocation and reinstatement of photovoltaic (PV) panels, coordination with the removal and reinstatement of fume cupboard ventilation plant by others, installation of roof safety systems and access provisions, repairs to the pitched roof areas, and decoration of the pitched roof overhang metalwork and rainwater goods.
