The joint venture operating model, Newport Norse will cease operating on the 31st December 2025, and our new company, wholly owned by Newport City Council will commence operations. Our new company is called Cyson Cymru Property Services and will start operating on 1st January 2026.
Cyson Cymru will be based in the same offices in Caradog House and be made up of many of the familiar names from Newport Norse. From a supplier’s perspective, it will continue to operate in a very similar way to Newport Norse with all of the services and work currently undertaken by Newport Norse on behalf of Newport City Council, including works and projects across our schools and other premises, will continue much in the same way with Cyson Cymru.
