To provide archaeological clerk of works role during consolidation works
at Clydach Ironworks in Monmouthshire.

To include:
- Preparation of WSI for works as Schedule of Works, to place
consolidation works into an archaeological framework and meet the
requirements of the SMC conditions.
- Project admin based on 16 week site programme.
- Archaeological watching brief based on 16 week site programme, two
days per week over the 16 week programme for archaeological
monitoring in the form of an archaeological watching brief. Number of days required can be escalated up or down according to the requirements of the consolidation programme.
- Post works 3D survey of the ironworks to produce metrically accurate
rendered photorealistic 3D modelling of the survey area, buildings and
general scenes georeferenced with high accuracy.
- Reporting for required works. A report and analysis of findings is required to fulfil Scheduled Monument Consent and professional requirements. This usually takes the form of grey literature report and academic journal entry.
- Reporting to, and meetings with, the Client and 3rd party
consultants / contractors as required for effective delivery of the contract.

Potential Additional Works include:
- 3 days evaluation and recording if required. Provision allows for up to three archaeologists for five days to evaluate, for example trenching by machine excavation, any given area or structure identified during the consolidation works.
- Photogrammetric modelling of features. Generation of 3 measured 3D
surveys during course of archaeological work, hosted on specialist cloud based viewer, to enable partners to collaborate with archaeological data ahead of any subsequent post-excavation reporting stage.
- Additional reporting for potential additional works.
