The Council is seeking a supplier to provide broadband infrastructure to rural businesses in Buckinghamshire that currently have no Next generation access (NGA) infrastructure provided with a download speed greater than 30 Mbps utilising the National Broadband Scheme (NBS) 2016.
Additional funding may become available during the contract life. Should this occur the value of the contract may increase.
Further information regarding the scope and the evaluation process can be found within the procurement documentation.
Deployment must complete by 31.12.2021: there is a requirement for the delivery of Wholesale Services for 7 years post completion of the deployment date.
Tenderers should note that there are critical dates at the start of this procurement relating to the supplier return and agreement to the Councils Non-disclosure agreement (NDA), agreed Code of Conduct and expression of interest form. Suppliers who fail to respond/agree by the stated milestones will be excluded.

The Council will incorporate a standstill period at the point when information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, and provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for the aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
