  • powered gates and barriers,
  • automatic doors.
  The works would be undertaken in properties throughout the geographical area in which a2Dominion operates.
  The volumes of work would be dependent on asset surveys and repair data. Programmes of work in terms of the numbers of properties, location and type of equipment would be determined by a2dominion on an annual basis.
  Framework for installation works in new developments.
  The framework will be utilised for delivery of the door entry, access controls, CCTV, powered gates/barriers works and automatic doors in new developments undertaken by a2Dominion or joint-ventures that a2Dominion are involved with.
  The selection of specialist contractors for the design, installation and commissioning of new door entry, access controls, CCTV, powered gates/barriers works and automatic doors will be from the framework where this is practical for individual development schemes. The contractual arrangements will be between the selected framework member and the developer/design build contractor for the individual development concerned.
  The works would be undertaken in developments throughout the geographical area in which a2Dominion operates.
  The volumes of work would be dependent on development work being delivered by a2Dominion but the current development pipeline is circa 7 800 new homes.

This lot has been created as a backup in order to manage assurance of supply. Call-offs will be made when additional capacity is required, to maintain continuity of service. The requirements remain the same, as outlined below:
    The scope of the new term maintenance contracts will include for servicing activities, asset collection and a repair service in relation to the following types of equipment:
    • door entry systems/access controls,
    • CCTV,
    • powered gates and barriers,
    • automatic doors.
    The approximate number of properties covered by this lot is as follows:
    Lot 3: 1 750 blocks.
    The contracts may also include emergency, complete system replacements for the equipment concerned but it should be noted that a separate lots will be used for planned/capital works.
    The value of this lot will be shared with the termed contract for access control maintenance and services (DN474579). Therefore ‘II.2.6. Estimated value — GBP 1 500 000’ is only an indicative figure.
