Net Zero Sustainable Transport Strategy and Action Plan - Brecon Beacons National Park Authority

Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) would like to commission consultants to prepare an innovative net zero transport strategy for the Brecon Beacons National Park. The strategy will develop a framework and initiatives to help address key challenges faced by the National Park including the management of visitor pressures, decarbonisation and the transition to net zero, and supporting the development of resilient, thriving and prosperous communities.

The strategy will build on existing work and current initiatives and policy objectives at a local, regional and national level to identify solutions and opportunities to support sustainable communities and address the pressures of visitors on local infrastructure whilst enhancing visitor experience and furthering the net zero agenda. It will develop an action plan and outline business cases for prioritised interventions.

3.1

Safonau gofynnol a'r cymhwyster sydd ei angen

Tenders are invited from individual firms or from a group of firms acting as a team of specialists/advisers, albeit such “team bids” should make clear which firm is taking the lead. In addition, such quotations should also include details of protocols to be used in the management of activities within the team.

Bidders must include details of a maximum of 3 projects selected from the last five years that demonstrate relevant experience to deliver the services required in this invitation to tender. Project details should include:

a) the name of the client;

b) brief description of project or assignment;

c) services provided or roles played;

d) key achievements.

Bidders should also provide the name and contact details of two referees who are contactable within a one week period of the return date that the Authority may contact with reference to your relevant experience.
