Swansea Phase 1 itself includes the delivery of a new Arena, two car parks, a Hotel, pedestrian bridge and associated highways and landscaping works to connect to the city centre. This includes a number of small size commercial units in various locations.
City and County of Swansea are the developer of these units and are looking for an end user to acquire the completed development on a turnkey basis. The Residential accommodation indicatively comprises of 24no - 2 bed DQR compliant apartments formed over 3 levels above retail / commercial units on realigned Wassail Street and situated between the Quadrant Centre and the new Arena / Hotel . A total of circa 1,443 sqm NIA and so approximately 60 sqm per unit could be derived, plus associated common parts for access, a lift / stair core, plant and service areas. On site cycle parking. Policy compliant 30% (min) affordable housing is to be provided

Swansea Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced residential providers to invest in the residential aspect of Swansea Central Phase 1, which, along with the remainder of Swansea Central was granted outline planning permission in June 2017. Swansea Phase 1 itself includes the delivery of a new Arena, two car parks, a Hotel, pedestrian bridge and associated highways and landscaping works to connect to the city centre. This includes a number of small size commercial units in various locations.
City and County of Swansea are the developer of these units and are looking for an end user to acquire the completed development on a turnkey basis. Therefore Applications are invited from experienced housing providers that can demonstrate a proven track record.
Please note the date specified in section II.3 has been included as the council is obliged to publish a date in the notice. However there is no estimated award date at this stage. The council may publish further information on this date in due course if necessary.
