VI.3) Gwybodaeth ychwanegol
All providers will be registered with the Care Inspectorate. The principles of Getting It Right for Every Child are at the heart of this Service. The Council and Provider shall work in partnership to commission and deliver services that will fully support Children and Young People as they grow and develop.
The Council is looking to re-tender this service and create a new Framework Agreement and appoint multiple Contractors to service that Framework Agreement. A draft specification fully describing the Council’s requirement is available on request from January 2024.
Market Engagement
As a part of the procurement process, the Council wishes to engage with the marketplace, to ensure the Specification reflects the requirement. It is expected that the tender will open for applications in March 2024.
The Council will be hosting an online supplier event on 31 January 2024 from 2pm until 5pm. The purpose of this event is to outline the requirement to suppliers, discuss the draft specification, and detail the procurement process, including estimated timelines. The event will take place on Microsoft Teams.
If you wish to attend this event, please email john.youngs@edinburgh.gov.uk with all proposed names from your organisation, by 24th January 2024.
