It is not a formal invitation to tender.Estimated Contract length – 5 + 2 yearsEstimated Contract value – A five-year budget would be £3.570m and a five year plus two-year budget would be £4.998mEstimated start of contract : Jan 2025Milton Keynes City Council intends to procure Mental Health Supported Accommodation that will provide support and increase independence for residents with mental health illness. The services will provide care, support and temporary accommodation for people who have experienced mental health conditions and dual diagnosis. The services will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.We are looking for high, medium and low support accommodation services, a total of 38 beds, the requirements for each being: High level support CQC registered Staffed 24/7 , to include waking nights Strengths based approachCommunity based activity around existing and new interestsFocus on enablement and move on to lower-level needs accommodationMedium level supportStaffed 24/7 , staff on sleep in or a concierge. Strengths based approach Enablement focus – skills for working, independenceLow level support Housing officer support during the daytime with concierge/mobile securityStrengths based approach Enablement – skills for working and living independently, CV building , budgeting Support with work experience and job applications with a view to gaining paid employment Support to secure own accommodation – private rental or council general needs. In addition, 10 beds for people with complex mental health needs will be procured in mid 2025. This may include people with dual diagnosis or a forensic history and will be CQC registered.
