The ICB are looking to host a Market Engagement Event with potential providers via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 22nd February 2024, timings to be confirmed.

• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) Assessment Service
The ICB are looking to host a Market Engagement Event with potential providers via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 22nd February 2024, timings to be confirmed.
The Service will consist of:
• Providing a specialist assessment and diagnostic service to adults with a suspected ADHD residing within the local areas as defined by the ICB commissioning boundaries.
• This service is for the triage ,assessment, diagnosis and establishing treatment for adult patients with ADHD symptoms and is designed to provide a safe and effective service within the community to patients across STW with a suspected ADHD diagnosis which may require pharmacological and/or non-pharmacological treatment for ADHD as appropriate on confirmed diagnosis.
• This service will assess and diagnose individuals with suspected ADHD across STW who do not have serious mental health comorbidities.
To provide a safe and effective service the service will:
• Provide initial assessment and timely diagnosis of ADHD in adults and establish a treatment plan to include pharmacological and/or non-pharmacological treatment which also addresses the individuals psychological, behavioural, and occupational or educational needs.
• Provide relevant advice, guidance, support and signposting to appropriate organisations and other professionals as appropriate.
• Initiation of medication that aligns to NHS STW ICS local health formulary: Formulary(shropshireandtelfordformulary.nhs.uk).
• Provide the specialist element of oversight of prescribing including all baseline physical health checks and ongoing monitoring as appropriate as detailed by the Integrated Care Protocol (ICP) prior to transfer/acceptance to oversight/monitoring service or any other appropriate provider.
• Provide guidance on self-help strategies and recommendations for individuals in support of self-care.
It is anticipated that any future Contract would be for a period of 1 year with the option to
extend for up to a further 12 months with an estimated value of £3,200,000.00. NHS Standard Terms and Conditions would apply.

The ICB are aware of their transparency obligations under the Provider Selection Regime. This is a Provider Selection Regime(PSR) intended market engagement event notice. Should the ICB award any contract subsequent to this event, it will be subject to the Health Care Services(Provider Selection Regime)Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this notice.
The ICB is not bound to act on any information generated from the market engagement, and participation in the event does not automatically guarantee any standing with regards to any future PSR process adopted by the ICB.
