To provide West Yorkshire Combined Authority with a planned, reactive maintenance and repair service to any of WYCA’s properties located throughout the West Yorkshire area. Works shall include all items as may be relevant to the installations and in accordance with details indicated elsewhere in the specification.
Provision for the attendance to breakdowns as instructed by WYCA in accordance with the required service level agreements. The Contractor shall guarantee that appropriate qualified labour is available 24 hours a day 365/6 day a year.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) (the Authority) seeks competitive tenders to provide a planned and Reactive service relating to building fabric services across a range of WYCAs portfolio of properties and on-street assets located in the five districts of West Yorkshire.
A three year Maintenance and Repair Contract as described in this specification shall be subject to schedule of rates, hourly rates and material uplift, to carry out all or any maintenance, repairs or renewals which may be or become necessary and provide an emergency 24 hour call out service. WYCA may wish to extend the period of the agreement if required and agreed by all parties. The extension period will be one year. The maximum contract duration would be five years.
The contractor shall allow prior to the official contract start date, one month mobilisation period in order that the contractor can fully satisfy the contract from the official start date.
The premises vary in size, extent, style and content ranging from small-detached buildings to large transport interchange and office buildings. The geographical coverage is extensive. The Contractor must acknowledge this in their calculation of tendered rates.
