Disgrifiad o'r contract
North Wales Police needs to dispose of property on a regular basis in a legitimate and transparent way to ensure that the Force’s integrity and reputation remain intact. NWP seek to source a company who will be able to provide both an asset valuation and auction service.
The property comes from several sources:
- Found property that has been handed in that the Force has been unable to identify or contact the rightful owner;
- Removed / seized property that turns out to have been stolen and therefore, cannot be returned to the person from whom it was removed /seized;
- Property that remains unclaimed after the owners’ have been contacted and asked to collect it.
- Property owned by North Wales police that the force looks to dispose of.
- Property believed to be proceeds of crime seized during criminal investigations and required to be sold for the purpose of contributing to forfeiture and confiscation proceeds.
The contractor will be required to provide services which include attending at NWP locations to retrieve items seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act in order to authenticate, provide valuation and hold items in storage to the point of conclusion of the POCA proceedings.

Mae angen i Heddlu Gogledd Cymru gael gwared ar eiddo'n rheolaidd mewn ffordd gyfreithlon a thryloyw er mwyn sicrhau bod uniondeb ac enw da'r Heddlu'n parhau'n iawn. Mae HGC yn ceisio cyrchu cwmni a fydd yn gallu darparu gwasanaeth prisio ac arwerthu asedau.

- Eiddo sydd wedi'i ganfod sydd wedi cael ei roi mewn ac nad ydy'r Heddlu wedi gallu adnabod y perchennog iawn neu gysylltu hefo nhw
- Eiddo sydd wedi'i dynnu / ei atafaelu ac a ymddengys ei fod wedi'i ddwyn ac felly ni ellir ei ddychwelyd i'r un oedd wedi'i ddwyn
- Eiddo sydd eto i'w hawlio ar ôl cysylltu hefo'r perchnogion a gofyn iddyn nhw ei gasglu.
- Eiddo i Heddlu Gogledd Cymru y mae'n bwriadu cael gwared arno.
