Contract for The Provision of Research Consultancy Services – Northern Ireland Cohort for Longitudinal Study of Ageing (NICOLA) Wave 3 SurveySchool of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical SciencesNICOLA (Northern Ireland Cohort for Longitudinal Study of Ageing), Northern Ireland's largest public health research project, led by Queens University Belfast, aims to produce a substantial improvement in the quantity and quality of data, research and information relating to older people and ageing in Northern Ireland. The NICOLA study at the Centre for Public Health in Queen’s has secured funding to commence the thirdwave of this longitudinal ageing study.There are two previous waves of data collected by a Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) survey. The research is designed to follow Waves 1 and 2 of the NICOLA study and broadly harmonise with other longitudinal ageing surveys undertaken by Trinity College Dublin.

NICOLA (Northern Ireland Cohort for Longitudinal Study of Ageing), Northern Irelands largest public health research project, led by Queens University Belfast, aims to produce a substantial improvement in the quantity and quality of data, research and information relating to older people and ageing in Northern Ireland. Cyfiawnhad:
Queen's will be availing of Article 27 (3), Public Contracts Regulations 2015; where a state of urgency duly substantiated by the contracting authority renders impracticable the time limit laid down in the second subparagraph of paragraph 1, it may fix a time limit which shall be not less than 15 days from the date on which the contract notice was sent.
