NLW requires a solution which will record all content broadcast on specific channels (BBC 1 Wales HD; BBC 2 Wales HD; ITV1 Wales HD; S4C HD; BBC Radio Wales; BBC Radio Cymru) (and possibly additional channels) for a period of 30 days. During that period some of the output will be selected by curators for retention to become part of NLW’s collections, this is normally about 20 radio programmes and 30 TV programmes every day.
NLW requires the solution to have the ability to store the selected recordings and their metadata for a longer period of 270 days to provide flexibility when copies of recordings and metadata are exported in batch and further processed by other systems. Once successful processing of exported content is confirmed, NLW will delete the exported content to retrieve storage capacity.

Cyber Security Clarification
There are three ways of meeting our Cyber Security requirement, you need one of the following:
1. ISO7001 Certification
2. Cyber Essentials Plus Certification (a UK certification which is also internationally available)
3. Alternative Certification along with documentary evidence relevant to Cyber Security audit which would need to be reviewed by NLW to decide if it complies with our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and NCSC best practice.
