Disgrifiad byr o'r contract neu'r pryniant/pryniannau

The Contracting Entity requires the management and delivery of support services and the supply, operation and maintenance of associated equipment (such as wheelchairs, Smax chairs and ambilifts) to persons with reduced mobility (PRM) as described and covered by the IATA PRM codes using the Airport.

The service will extend to assistance to persons across any or all of the IATA PRM codes.

Outbound assistance will include assistance upon arrival at the airport, through check in, through Security to departure lounge, gate and boarding aircraft.

Inbound assistance will include assistance from aircraft disembarkation, through border control (where appropriate), baggage reclaim and arrivals to means of onward transportation.

Other related assistance includes support to transit passengers and assistance to persons of reduced mobility in the event of schedule delays or cancellations and supply of replacement equipment in event of loss or damage to PRM's personal equipment.

There will be a need to create, record and supply PRM service statistics and performance data.

The service must be available each day of the year on a ‘24/7’ basis.

An economic operator will be ineligible for participation in the tender process where the economic operator or its directors or any person who has powers of representation, decision or control of the economic operator has been convicted of any of the offences listed at regulation 26 paragraph 1 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 as amended by subsequent legislation, such ineligibility being subject to paragraph 2 of regulation 26).

An economic operator may be judged ineligible for participation in the tender process where any of the grounds set out at Regulation 26 paragraph 5 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 as amended by subsequent legislation applies to the Economic Operator. Economic operators responding to this notice shall provide written confirmation, as provided for in the Pre-qualification Documentation and Questionnaire, as to their status with respect to the matters set out in paragraphs 1 and 5 of regulation 26.

The estimated value range stated at section II.2.1 applies to a contract period of three years and does not include for any potential extensions to the contract period as detailed at section II.2.2.

Economic Operators who wish to participate in this procurement process should express interest, via email, to the contact point given in section I.1 no later than the date and time specified in section IV.3.4 requesting a copy of the Pre-qualification Questionnaire. This will be issued following the date identified at section IV.3.4 of this Notice.

Belfast International Airport Ltd will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the intended award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The notification will provide full information on the award decision in accordance with the requirements of the Utilities Contracts Regulations current at the date of despatch of this Notice.
