Our current insurance coverage is due to expire on 31st March 2016 and the Audit and Risk Committee is now seeking to tender these services for a period of two years.
Insurance Cover Required
We require the following insurance cover:
• Property Damage - excess £1,000 per claim -All Risks’ cover including Theft, Subsidence and Terrorism to consist of
o Buildings landlords fixtures and fittings owned properties £9.2million
o Tenants improvements £760,000
o Contents insurance floating over all offices £3,850,0000
o Telephone equipment floating over all offices £300,000
o Computer and electronic equipment floating over all offices £1,950,000
o Portable Equipment floating over all offices £275,000
• Business Interruption to include £500,000 Increased Cost of Working cover with 24 month Indemnity period.
• Employers’ Liability – £10 million excess £2,500
• Money
• Public/Products Liability – £5 million excess £250
• Fidelity Guarantee – £500,000
• Professional Indemnity – £10million
• Directors’ and Officers’ Liability – £5 million limit
• Employment Practices Liability – £2.5million
• Personal Accident – 5 x salary benefit payable including temporary partial disablement of £50 per week.
• Staff Travel Insurance
• Statutory Lift Inspections
Based on our risk profile and our previous claims record brokers are invited to provide an insurance proposal based on the above criteria which they consider meets our requirements. This should include the total of all aggregates, the amount insured and any excess options proposed.
