Arts Council of Wales invites Tenders for the supply of services in respect of a research and evaluation study that will measure the value and impact of our Ideas: People: Places(IPP) scheme. The successful Potential Provider(s) will be responsible for providing this service and liaising closely with the Contract Manager identified by Arts Council of Wales. The Arts Council of Wales is the country’s official public body charged with funding and developing the arts. We are committed to finding new ways of enabling more people to enjoy and take part in the arts. We believe that creative and cultural experiences enrich people’s lives and contribute to the well being of individuals and communities. Ideas: People: Places (IPP) is a new Arts Council of Wales scheme that tests these assumptions. It has collaboration and engagement at its heart. It encourages innovative and creative approaches to architecture and urban practice and is designed to explore new solutions to familiar planning and regeneration challenges, especially where they facilitate better community engagement. Through Ideas: People: Places, the Arts Council is investing £3.0m in seven projects across Wales that test these new ways of working, new partnerships, and new models of regeneration. A range of different projects have been selected, but all aim to use arts, community engagement urban design and architecture as a catalyst for change.
