Cyngor Cymuned Castellnewydd Uchaf / Newcastle Higher Community Council

invites suitably qualified contractors to tender for the treatment and management of several invasive plants in its woodland area, located in Aberkenfig, Bridgend. This contract is designed to support the Council’s commitment to environmental cleanliness, maintaining green spaces and its ongoing commitment to biodiversity.

The successful contractor will be required to:

• Provide a management plan for the effective management and treatment of the invasive species stated above.

• State the lawful disposal of any species.

• Hold appropriate licenses and insurances for the treatment of invasive species.

• Keep accurate records and provide the necessary documentation on request.

• The successful bidder would be required to attend a site visit and confirm the affected areas

• Be available within the project timescales:

START – 14th July 2025

END – 31st March 2027
