Esboniad
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
Details of the Award Decision-Makers: Mrs N Keepin, Departmental Manager for Haematology, Blood Transfusion and Immunology.
Conflicts of Interest: There were no conflicts of interest identified among the decision makers.
Rationale:
• National and regional agreement in place
• Tests not currently run in house due to cost effectiveness or lack of currently verified kit
• No alternate supplier, genetics services have been consolidated.
• KPIs can be met by resource and clinical cover
• Tests are accredited or alternate quality is assured
The existing provider is the only capable provider of the service.
