Crynodeb

Interested parties are being sought for a joint appointment by Coastal Housing Group and Pobl Group, two registered social landlords operating across south Wales. The appointing parties are seeking a master planner and architect to develop plans for a residential site of over 160 homes in Gorseinon, Swansea. The homes are to be for a range of tenures including social rent, low-cost home ownership and open market sale. The site is to include areas of open landscaped amenity space in addition to the new housing, with the aim of creating a semi-rural, village feel to the development. Previous experience of working with registered social landlords is advantageous, as is knowledge of standards applicable to affordable housing by the Welsh Government (DQR, Lifetime Homes, Code for Sustainable Homes, Secure by Design etc). Following closure of this notice, we intend holding interviews with interested practices on 11th May.

EOI deadline brought forward to compress procurement process. EOI deadline is now 28th March 2018, with more detailed information then to be requested by Coastal and Pobl directly with a deadline of 27th April 2018. The face-to-face interview date remains set as 11th May 2018.

Adendum to EOI - additional information required
Interested parties must express their interest no later than 16.30pm on the 28th March, by submitting a concise brochure that contains details of relevant projects where their company has prepared masterplans for similar residential projects. The brochure should also explain the range of skills and people within the company that would be working on the Gwynfaen Farm project, should they be successful. Finally, the brochure should include at least one reference from a client in relation to a successful master planning project.
