The Council has awarded this contract to a suitably qualified and experienced economic operator ‘Bidder’ for the provision of animal healthcare services at Belfast Zoo.
This ITT set out the information that was required by the Council to assess the suitability of Bidders' experience, organisational and financial standing to meet the ITT requirement. In addition to this, quality, social value, and pricing proposals were also assessed before any contract award was made.

II.2.11) Gwybodaeth am opsiynau

Disgrifiad o’r opsiynau:
The Contract shall be effective from the date of award of Contract for an initial period of 2 years.
The Council reserves the right to extend/renew the Contract up to a further 3 years (2 + 1 years). Any extension may be subject to further approval by Council Committee, availability of funding and satisfactory performance of the Contractor.
The Council reserves the right to purchase the following additional Goods or Services under this Contract during the Contract Period: -
• Additional requirements not listed in the Pricing Schedule i.e. animal size/ type and additional equipment, and supplementary items necessary to support the zoo. This may include labour/ staff required and associated hire costs.
• Cover for other Council Premises and departments that require animal healthcare related services e.g. dog/ animal control.
The Council reserves the right to explore/ use other procurement options in these circumstances where value for money is not demonstrated.
The Council reserves the right to add or remove items from the Contract in line with the Council’s requirements. Where the Council identifies an additional requirement to be added the Contractor will be expected to price based similar items priced in the Pricing Schedule.
Any Contract variation may be subject to further Council internal approvals and be in accordance with the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations.
