The objective of the Circular Economy project is to use existing infrastructure, resources, knowhow, and networks to develop the Circular Economy on Ynys Môn and Gwynedd. Menter Môn have worked with Ynys Môn and Gwynedd CC to establish a network of Ffiws spaces across both Counties since 2020. The Ffiws spaces are in our communities and can be used as hubs to repair, reuse and grow. With support through the Circular Economy fund we can develop a programme of interventions that can increase awareness, develop skills, and embed a culture of reducing waste at every opportunity.
A makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring, and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools. The type of technology available in a maker space includes 3D printers, laser cutters and 3D scanners. There are currently 11 makers spaces in Gwynedd and 1 on Anglesey.
