Invitation to Quote (ITQ) – Online Education Package 1. S2W Tender The North Wales Wildlife Trust wishes to appoint an independent, professional contractor to produce an Online Education Package about Eurasian beaver (Castor fiber) to support engagement and educational activities through the Dyfi Catchment Natural Restoration Project. This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 – ENRaW Scheme, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. 2. You will be required to: ● Understand the project’s aims, objectives, and outcomes and develop an Education Package (a key output of the project) that can be used as an online toolkit of resources for educators. ● Design engaging activities that will align with today’s national curriculum, covering many subjects: Science, English, Mathematics, Design and Technology, Music, Physical Education, Geography, History and Art. ● Ensure the toolkit is available as an open resource through the North Wales Wildlife Trust’s website, with materials that can be easily downloaded. ● Produce an innovative toolkit, drawing together a wide range of educational resources that will give young children knowledge and embed a sense of ‘awe and wonder’ about the life of beavers and their role in natural restoration, as well as inspiring and enthusing educators to use the resources. ● Provide detailed and inclusive, long, medium and short-term bi-lingual teaching plans. ● Brief NWWT staff, partners, and local educators on the benefits of the package for primary-aged children and the availability of the online education toolkit. ● Assist NWWT with engaging and involving educators (schools, forest schools, home schoolers and parents/carers) with the successful implementation of the educational toolkit leading to gathering feedback from educators to support the final project evaluation (June 2023). ● Design and produce materials that follow the Wildlife Trust’s Brand Style Guide. (Note: Your quote will need to include any necessary licence fees for using fonts needed to adhere to the Wildlife Trusts typography style). ● Follow the Trust’s Brand Style Guide to provide inspiring graphic illustrations, photographs and a short film (licenses permitting) or animation that can be used to complement the Education Package design. These resources will need to be formatted to use in assets like PowerPoint presentations and for use across social media channels to support engagement. ● Produce bi-lingual materials (Welsh and English) and comply with the Trust’s Welsh Language Standards. ● North Wales Wildlife Trust will hold copyright of all the materials. 3.
