Crynodeb

A control and monitoring system panel is required for two photobioreactors (PBRs), to carry out the growth of the microalgae cultures within them. In order to subsidise the costs of this item the RICE project would be willing to include the supplier’s logo on the Project web-site and the signage used for publishing the RICE project. The plan is for two large signs to be produced; one at the main entrance to the TATA steelworks site and the other at the area where the greenhouse will be situated. The demonstration site is to be used to maximise exposure of the Project and will host a large number of industry and local / national government representatives. Please note, the exact details are still pending final approval with TATA. The unique control panel should include both PBRs control and monitoring. A unique human machine interface (HMI) and unique programmable logic controller (PLC) are required but both PBRs will run independently. Swansea University is looking for an industrial style solution with data logger and remote access.
