Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust (NCHC) invite you to participate in a procurement process for replacement fire doors and installation services — run in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015. NCHC have a requirement for the replacement and installation of 92 fire doors (including some fittings) across its estate of 9 inpatient units.
This procurement is considered urgent due to the need for the provision and installation of fire doors in Trust inpatient environments, to ensure compliance with statutory fire legislation.
NCHC intend to award a contract to 1 bidder for the provision of the goods and services.

II.2.4) Disgrifiad o’r caffaeliad
NCHC have a requirement for the replacement and installation of fire doors (including some fittings) across its estate of 9 inpatient units.
A total of 92 non-conforming fire doors have been identified during a recent fire safety audit and require replacing — including the provision and installation of the replacement doors and ironmongery detailed in the cost template. The successful bidder will also be required to dispose of all waste products including removed doors.
The fire safety audit has been performed by a specialist authority, with the output findings from this report being used to form a schedule of work.
Bidders are asked to populate and return document costs stating the cost of a replacement door at the 4 specified levels of fire safety standard; including the cost of the replacement door, hardware (fixtures, fittings, handles, hinges, door closers, locks and latches) and installation. Bidders are also asked to attach/reattach an asset label as required.
Any door repaired or replaced by the supplier and deemed ‘non-conforming’ during a subsequent fire inspection must be proactively addressed and remediated at the cost of the supplier, not NCHC.
Due to the nature of the business, the Trust would like the successful contractor to provide their own outdoor work area in for cutting and trimming doors/carpentry and suitable areas can be identified during the site visits.
