Midlands and Lancashire CSU on behalf of Wirral CCG (The CCG) are inviting suitably qualified Providers of Nursing Homes to submit a request to participate to be included in a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the management and service provision of Patients Newly Requiring NHS Continuing Healthcare. The service requirement covers patients registered with a GP within the CCG's geography. It is the intention of the commissioner that the service be split into the following lots:
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — general care;
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — Functional mental health;
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — dementia;
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — challenging behaviour;
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — end of life;
Care home with nursing or domiciliary care — learning disability.
The service requirement covers patients registered with a GP within one of the CCGs geographies.
