Cardiff University are looking to procure Laboratory-based partial discharge measurement hardware as part of a research project. Commercial partial discharge measurement and calibration system. The system should have the following features: - Capable of calibrated laboratory based PD measurement according to IEC60270, and IEC60437. - 10-30 MHz PD bandwidth or better - >100 MS/s PD sampling rate - Capable of charge calibration down to 1 pC - < 5 ns event resolution - Optical isolation between measurement system and receiver unit / PC - Option of battery powered measurement unit to avoid ground interference - Have the capability to measure PD from multiple sensors including UHF - Plot data in PDPD formats and save / export this data in various formats (.txt, .csv, etc) - Filter PD data by frequency content and plot in seperate PDPD plots - Save and export raw PD data (time series) for post-processing in external software such as MATLAB. The raw PD data should include its time stamp, or phase position, apparent charge level and voltage at which the PD occurred. If you believe you have a solution to this requirement, please express your interest to this notice. There is a budget of £35,000 for this requirement, therefore solutions above this mark will not be considered. For further information, please email Procurement@cardiff.ac.uk.
