Crynodeb
To facilitate the retainment of water on approximately 10% of peat fen at Penhesgyn Landfill by opening an existing ditch, creating a series of wildlife pools, installing shuttering around part of the peatland boundary, and creating a headwall to regulate water flow. Water will be pumped back into the fen using solar pumps to aid rewetting.

This notice has been cancelled. The original deadline date of 09/01/2026 is no longer applicable.
Unfortunately, the Council has decided to cancel this procurement process.
This action is regrettable but unavoidable. A further review has resulted in concerns around whether the original specification provided in the tender documents is fit for purpose.
The Council feels it needs to reconsider the specification to make sure the fit for purpose requirements are fully met.
The Council would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
However, the Council intends to reconsider the specification and re-tender soon when further information is available.
