Esboniad
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. Theawarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement
Act 2023 do not apply to this award.
Details of the Award Decision-Makers: Fiona McClintock, Service Line Manager, Surgical Business Unit.
Conflicts of Interest: There were no conflicts of interest identified among the decision makers.
Rationale: The Authority intends to directly award a contract to Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust under the Direct Award Process A of the Provider Selection Regime.
The existing provider is the only capable provider of the service.
