Works comprise the inspection and maintenance of all tree, amenity planting, woodland and grass areas to communal residential land including cleansing and weed clearance of hard areas. The contract also includes inspection and maintenance of trees and shrubs within individual gardens and assisted gardening services to approximately 50 properties.
The contract duration is thirty six months with the option to extend by a further 24 months subject to satisfactory review as assessed by the Association's Housing Management and by tenant feedback.

The ESPD will be assessed to ensure all bidders pass the threshold criteria for working with a public body and questions the scored under 4C1.1/4C1.2. The 5 highest bidders who have passed all other sections will be invited to go through to the tender stage of the procurement procedure. If less than 5 bidders pass all sections of the ESPD only bidders who pass all sections will be allowed to proceed to tender stage. If Almond Housing Association decide there is insufficient acceptable bidders the procurement may be cancelled.

Almond Housing Association is committed to contributing to the social, economic and environmental well-being of their residents in Livingston.
For the community benefit requirement please refer to Appendix 7 of the draft invitation to tender document.
The community benefits requirement are a pass or fail scoring criteria for this tender competition. Almond HA's expectation is that 80 community benefit points or more will be delivered under this contract. Bidders should review this section before completing the ESPD and ensure they can provide the minimum benefit if selected to go through to tender stage.
