II.2.4) Disgrifiad o’r caffaeliad
The purpose of this PIN is to give advance notice the University intends to arrange a contract for the provision of a student bursary scheme online store. The University funds various bursaries to students and wishes to engage with a supplier, with a proven track record of providing students with access to a one stop shop solution, to obtain a variety of learning materials using these funds via an online account and/or smart cards (which would be provided as part of the solution by the successful bidder). Students should also be able to make additional personal payments to top up these funds. A wide variety of goods should be available via the online store, including but not limited to IT equipment, stationery, books and e-books. The University may also wish to open the solution up to its wider student community at some point during the contract lifetime. It is anticipated that there could be up to 2 000 students entitled to a bursary during any 1 year The contract value currently stated reflects the maximum level of spend anticipated should the maximum awards be made, however, there is no guaranteed level of spend as bursary volumes, awards and spend will vary. Expressions of interest are invited from organisations who believe they have the relevant experience and a current solution with a proven track record, ideally within the HE environment, to fulfil the requirements outlined above. Interested parties are required to express their interest by submitting a brief summary of their experience and capability by 12.00 on 16.10.2019 via the University's e-Tendering portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/solent). If the University decides there is sufficient interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers, it may decide to proceed with a procurement exercise via further advertisement. The specific procurement process selected will depend upon responses received to this PIN — call for competition.
