Esboniad
Microbiological safety cabinets are safety critical items of equipment. We currently have in excess of 30 of these cabinets and all have been supplied by Contained Air Solutions and staff are familiar with the operation of these cabinets and their controls. Cabinets supplied by a different manufacturer would not have the same controls and this could have safety implications by having 2 different types of cabinet. We also hold a number of consumable spares for our current cabinets and cabinets supplied by a different manufacturer would require another set of spares.
