The public sector anchor institutions of Exeter (Exeter City Council, University of Exeter, Exeter College, Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS FT) wish to work collaboratively to find a city-wide low carbon energy solution that is cost effective and resilient.
Our organisations have made commitments through a Civic Partnership Agreement to deliver a net zero solution for the city by 2030, commitments which are aligned to national government driven decarbonisation targets. All low carbon technologies are in-scope In this exercise although we are particularly interested in district heating solutions.
The current combined energy consumption of the partners in-scope is estimated to be around 60 GWH per annual.

5. The typical financial models you use to deliver schemes
6. Your organisations experience and skill in developing and implementing a solution to this challenge.
