Crynodeb

The purpose of the regeneration scheme is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value to 42nr. Council owned properties at Sketty Park. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached Properties, 2 storey Flats and 1 block of 4 storey flats. External Wall fabric is Traditional Cavity Wall Construction made up of an internal Blockwork Skin, 50mm Cavity and a pebble dashed Blockwork / brickwork external façade. Quotation for Labour, plant and materials to supply and install White uPVC-U Doors as per Drawing and Specification. Existing windows to be carefully removed taking care to minimise damage to internal reveals. Windows to be disposed off-site, glass to be recycled, all of the above must comply in accordance with the British Standards. Doors to be disposed off-site, glass to be recycled, all of the above must comply in accordance with the British Standards. 2.5% Main Contractors Discount to be allowed for in Prelet Negotiations. Please note: The following specification is taken from Rehau windows but we will accept any other equal approved system/manufacturer that is equal in specification, as checked by the Project Manger, please make this clear in your Tender submission. The dimensions in this tender are for tendering purposes only and a full site visit and measure will need to take place to determine the final measurements to determine the accurate site dimensions and quantities as required. Swansea Council Building Services will provide Scaffolding to enable the works to be carried out.

3 Amodau ar gyfer Cymryd Rhan

3.1

Safonau gofynnol a'r cymhwyster sydd ei angen

Site Material Handling and Distribution by Subcontractor. Subcontractor must be FENSA approved for Supply and Installation of new Windows & Doors. Subcontractor must allow for removal and replacement of existing Curtains, Curtain Rails and/ or Blinds. Windows and Doors to be manufacturered in batches of approx 8 - 10 properties with installation and surveys rolling over as works progress on site. Upvc Doors to be installed by an approved installer in accordance with BS: 8213 part 4 : code of practice for the survey and installation of windows and external doors. Provide independently certified evidence that all incorporated components comly with specified performance requirements. Kitchen and Bathroom fans to be priced per property but will be omitted and deducted acccordingly from the final tender figure should these not be required.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.
