This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process.
The lifetime value of the contract is approximately £100,000.00.
This is a new service and a new provider.
The start date is 1st October 2026 and the end date is 30th September 2028.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 25th September 2026 . This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.

The award decision was made by the Director of Public Health.
There have been no conflicts of interest declared.
Key criteria were assessed through evaluation by officers with skills and knowledge across the strategic and operational delivery aspects. CPSL Mind received the highest score after evaluation. Due to the frontline nature of the role, and importance of this service aligning with the wider support interventions already available, quality, safety and understanding of local system were prioritise when deciding on weightings.
