The organisation wants to undertake a review of its current and projected future corporate finance and treasury arrangements with the following objectives:
- ensuring that an appropriate treasury management policy is in place
- understanding the possible effects to NPT Homes of financial, political and social developments, including an assessment of the likely future course of interest rates
- ensuring its funding and liquidity management provide best value for money within its risk appetite
- determining the options and most appropriate solutions for raising additional funds as required, including the financing of new properties for rent and/or sale
- identifying opportunities to optimise returns on surplus cash based on appropriate counterparty credit worthiness and product capital risk
- identifying possible improvements to the processes and systems used to record, analyse and process treasury information.
The scope of the Services is split into three phases as set out in the RfP. The first phase will be an ‘Initial Review and Options Analysis’, the second will be an ongoing annual ‘Health Check’ and the third will be the ‘Implementation and Execution’ of any changes or new treasury arrangements as requested by the Organisation.
