Swansea Council ADG has been appointed to design and project manage a regeneration scheme to bring dwellings in line with the Welsh Housing Quality Standard requirements. The following document sets out the specification in line with the Client (Swansea Council Housing) Brief. The purpose of the regeneration scheme is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value to 49nr. Council owned properties at Chestnut Avenue, Gonhill, Northeron & Cartersford Place, West Cross.

Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached properties and 2 storey flats. External With a lack of suitable Insulation, the properties have been identified as below the current requirements to meet the WHQS. `wall fabric is traditional cavity wall construction made up of an internal blockwork skin, 50mm cavity and a pebble dashed blockwork / brickwork external façade. The chimneys are of masonry construction.

Your company is a member of National Federation of Roofing Contractors and must be Marley Approved Product Installers approved or your proposed sub-contractor/s are NFRC accredited / Marley Approved Product Installers.

Site visits may be arranged to assist with the detail required for tendering, ascertain the nature of the site, access thereto and all local conditions and restrictions and availability of resources likely to affect the execution of the works. Inspection of the site/establishment/properties is to be made strictly on an appointment basis with Nathan Rees Tel: 07974 587951.

All materials are to be new and the best of their respective kinds and must comply with any current relevant British Standard Specification. Materials and workmanship employed are subject to the approval of the Architect/Contract Administrator. All manufacturers’ guarantees are to apply in full on materials fitted. Materials shall be clean and not scratched when installed.

— Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).

— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.

— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.

— There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
