Crynodeb
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent is seeking a three (3) year Framework with the option to extend for one (1) additional year for the Supply of Pedal Cycles and Associated Equipment.
The Pedal Cycles will be used by Police Officers and Community Support Officers as a means of alternative transport for use in their day to day activities. Predominately used as a means of carrying out local community engagement and for high visibility policing in rural and urban locations throughout the geographical area of Gwent.
The Pedal Cycles will be used mostly on public roads, however due to the road surface will require robust wheels and tyres. The cycles will be used occasionally off-road such as over kerbs, grass, and through varying terrain so will require adequate grip and ride comfort due to prolonged use throughout the day. The cycle will be used in varying weather conditions so should be suitable for use in these conditions.
