The works include general repair and maintenance to the external and internal elements of tenanted domestic properties, sheltered schemes, shop premises, garages and public open spaces. This involves the renewal of soffits/fascia’s; repairs to brickwork/render; repairs and rebuilding of chimneys; external works including repairs to paths, shed roofs, fencing and other general repair and refurbishment work. Internal repair work includes general carpentry, plastering, plumbing and decorating.

all repairs are to be completed within the target dates that are set in V2C’s Responsive Repairs policy (see Annex 8). It is anticipated that this contract will be to carry out work from the Non-Urgent Routine Repairs and Planned /Programmed Repairs categories.

V2C is seeking to appoint one or more contractors to supplement the In House Housing Repairs Service in repairing properties following the reporting of defects by tenants. These repairs are required to ensure that the properties are maintained to a good state of repair, all repairs are to be completed within the target dates that are set.

Roofing repairs must be carried out by contractors registered by The National Federation of Roofing Contractors Limited (NFRC).

Electrical repairs must be carried out by contractors registered by National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC).

Gas maintenance and servicing must be carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers

1. Register your company on the eSourcing portal (this is only required once)

2. Express an Interest in the tender

- Login to the portal with the username/password

- Click the ‘PQQs Open To All Suppliers’ link. (These are Pre-Qualification Questionnaires or Invitations to Tender open to any registered supplier)

- Click on the relevant PQQ to access the content.

- Click the ‘Express Interest’ button at the top of the page.

- This will move the PQQ into your ‘My PQQs’ page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only)

-You can now access any attachments by clicking ‘Buyer Attachments’ in the ‘PQQ Details’ box

3. Responding to the tender

- Click ‘My Response’ under ‘PQQ Details’, you can choose to ‘Create Response’ or to ‘Decline to Respond’ (please give a reason if declining)

- You can now use the ‘Messages’ function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification

- Note the deadline for completion then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the PQQ

- There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available) you must then submit your reply using the ‘Submit Response’ button at the top of the page.

Firm commitments are required to ensure that this contract positively impacts the communities in which we operate. Tenderers are therefore required to submit a Community Supply Chain Initiative Table and a Targeted Recruitment and Training (TR&T) Method Statement by completing the relevant sections in the document in Annex 7.
